Archives Program Reviews
Program Review Committee 1999-2010
The SLAC Archives and History Office Program Review Committee was a standing committee charged with advising SLAC management on the goals, policies, and activities of the SLAC Archives and History program. Its emphasis included the following areas:
- Review the current archives and history program and assess how well it is fulfilling its mission and meeting DOE requirements.
- Evaluate SLAC's near-term (1-2 year) archival needs and recommend needed changes.
- Evaluate SLAC's longer-term (8-10 year) needs and strategy.
- Review and comment on the Office's mission, goals, policies, and activities.
- Prepare a report on these points and any other subject which may arise during the Committee's deliberations.
Membership
The membership represented the Lab and the Archives and History Office's major internal and external constituencies.
Meeting Information
The committee met annually in 1999 - 2000, bi-annually in 2002-2004, and tri-annually 2007-2010.
